Celebrate “Mother’s Day at the Market” - and help celebrate the market’s 16th year - with our local politicians, music, a Mother’s Day card-making area, and all our vendors from last year:

1. Common Root Farm: A small-scale certified organic vegetable farm located near Olney. It also offers a weekly Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) produce drop-off in Forest Estates. The farm accepts both WIC and FMNP.

2. Bump ‘n Grind: Kensington-based coffee roaster offering coffee to drink as well as bags of their signature roasted blends and single-origin organic and/or fairtrade coffee. Drip and pour-over available

3. The Mixing Bowl Bakery: Home-made sweets and treats for all occasions: brownies & bars, cakes & cupcakes, cookies, and more made fresh in Germantown.

4. Pizzeria Coco: Women- and AAPI-owned, Montgomery County-based mobile pizzeria crafting artisanal, 10-inch pizzas using high-quality ingredients with delicious vegan options. Available for catering! 

5. Benchmark Sharpening: Sharpens knives, gardening tools, scissors, and woodworking tools onsite. Check out their new retail cutlery store in Bethesda!

Join FECA on Mother’s Day for “Popsicles at the Park!”

FECA will be offering popsicles to neighbors and friends attending the Forest Estates Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Getty Park.

FECA will also be collecting used batteries (not car or motorcycle) and electronic equipment! Please bring batteries in a bag to prevent any potential leakage.
